WE ARE PIONEER LODGE 


We are located in Red River. We are 30 miles from Angel Fire. Pioneer Lodge has full amenities like a kitchen, with a dishwasher, a microwave as well as a coffee machine. Pets allowed!

We are a great lodge to get your "ski" on! Pioneer Lodge is across the street from Red River Ski resort.

Bandelier National Monument

Visit and climb into the unique ruins of the Bandelier National Monument, which preserves the homes of Puebloans of the Southwest. The surrounding landscapes are stunning, and the area is peaceful and quiet. Learn about the wildlife around and history behind the national monument. You can also have a picnic here.

Rio Grande Gorge Bridge

Take a break from driving by visiting the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge. Although the area can get windy here, the views from the bridge are amazing. Say hello to roaming rams or sheep if they're nearby. Sometimes there are also vendors who have locally made crafts and items for sale that you can take home to your family and loved ones.

Great Sand Dunes National Park

If you're willing to drive a bit, you can visit the Great Sand Dunes National Park. This park has stunning sunsets on the sand and brilliant stars at night. If you rent a kneeboard, you can cruise down the sand with your friends. Be prepared: the park can get windy and hot, so bring lots of water.

RED RIVER, NM


Located in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Red River, New Mexico is a gorgeous place to go if you're into the outdoors. Enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and rivers year-round, as there's always something to do nearby. 

Shop, ski, fish, sled, hike, swim and more in the wonderful town of Red River. You can also attend some of the local events that are going on. Be sure to bring your camera because our town is a great place to make memories.

The one bedroom is absolutely perfect for a couple! Within walking distance of almost all the stores and restaurants. Breathtaking mountain views right from our front porch. Easy check in and easy check out.  We well definitely be back to the Pioneer Lodge!

We've stayed here a few times since the renovation in different rooms. They're all well-decorated with many amenities. It's the PERFECT location in town—you can walk across the street to the grocery store. Beautiful lights at night!!

We loved our stay at Pioneer Lodge!! It was so cozy, right in the center of Red River, the fishing was awesome and the manager was constantly outside on the grounds, making sure everyone had what they needed and was enjoying their stay!!!

We're right by the best restaurants in town, so you can ski to your heart's content and then grab a bite to eat without having to travel far. Some of our favorite restaurants include Shotgun Willie's, Sundance Mexican Restaurant, Yesterday's Diner, Dairy Bar,
Red River Brewing Company & Distillery and Bull O' the Woods Saloon.
